Dear Colleagues!
We invite you to take part in the VIII International Regional Economics Conference (REC-2025) “Strategies of Spatial Development: Challenges and Prospects”, which will be held from June 24 to June 26, 2025.
Traditionally, the Conference is held in Ekaterinburg, Russia; the event is organized by the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the participation of other academic organizations.
The Regional Economics Conference is created to combine the efforts of the academia, government and business, with the purpose to solve the fundamental problem of overcoming challenges to the development of territorial communities of different levels. Within the framework of the Conference, a wide range of issues of the regional economy is considered, but every year the attention of the participants focuses on the one basic feature of regional development, a complex and debatable aspect.
In 2025, the Conference will consider the change management in the municipalities, regions and states.
The main topics are the following:
